Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct inspections and condition assessments of offshore cranes and pedestal-mounted cranes
- Inspect drilling and lifting equipment in accordance with API 2C and APO 2D requirements
- Assess crane structural integrity, mechanical components, wire ropes, hooks and lifting accessories
- Identify defects, wear, corrosion and potential safety issues
- Review crane inspection records, maintenance history and certification documents
- Prepare inspection reports and recommend corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with applicable API standards, project specifications and HSE requirements
Other Requirements
- Relevant qualification or certification in crane inspection (API 2C/ API 2D)- Proven experience in offshore crane and drilling equipment inspections
- Good knowledge of lifting equipment, crane operations and applicable industry standards
- Experience in Oil & Gas, offshore or marine environments
- Ability to prepare technical inspection reports
