Job Description
- Implement and enforce HSSE policies, procedures, and site safety plans
- Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with HSSE standards and regulations
- Conduct site inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments
- Identify hazards and ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented
- Ensure proper use of PPE and safe work practices
- Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and HSSE training sessions
- Review and approve Job Safety Analyses (JSA), Risk Assessments, and Permit-to-Work systems
- Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe acts/conditions
- Prepare incident reports and recommend corrective actions
- Coordinate with construction, engineering, and management teams on HSSE matters
- Monitor environmental protection measures and waste management practices
- Maintain HSSE records, statistics, and reports
Other Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field- Professional HSSE certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA) preferred
- 5–10 years of experience in HSSE roles, preferably in industrial or construction projects
- Strong knowledge of local HSSE regulations and international standards
