Job Description

- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and fabrication drawings

- Mark, measure, and layout pipes, plates, structural steel, and other materials for cutting, drilling, and welding

- Use hand tools, measuring instruments, and marking devices (e.g., tape measures, calipers, scribers, lasers)

- Ensure accurate alignment and fit-up of materials before fabrication or assembly

- Verify dimensions and tolerances according to project specifications

- Collaborate with welders, fitters, and fabricators to ensure correct assembly

- Maintain tools, equipment, and work area in a clean and safe condition

- Follow HSE procedures and ensure work is performed safely

- Report any discrepancies in drawings, measurements, or materials to supervisors
