Job Description
- Supervise and coordinate multiple teams, including foremen, fitters, welders, and laborers in piping, mechanical, and structural works
- Plan, schedule, and monitor all construction activities to meet project milestones
- Review and interpret P&IDs, isometrics, structural drawings, and project specifications
- Ensure proper installation, alignment, and fabrication of piping systems, mechanical equipment, and structural steel
- Monitor quality of work and ensure compliance with standards, codes, and specifications
- Conduct site inspections, audits, and progress assessments
- Ensure all HSE policies, safety regulations, and permit-to-work systems are implemented and followed
- Resolve technical and operational issues on site
- Coordinate with other disciplines (E&I, civil, HVAC, commissioning) to maintain workflow and avoid delays
- Mentor and support foremen and junior supervisors in leadership and technical practices
- Maintain records of manpower, materials, progress reports, and site documentation
- Participate in project meetings and provide status updates to the Project Manager or Construction Manager
Other Requirements
- Diploma, degree, or equivalent in Mechanical, Piping, Structural Engineering, or related field- 7–12 years of experience in piping, mechanical, or structural works, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of industrial piping systems, mechanical equipment, and structural steel works
- Familiarity with welding, fabrication, alignment, and installation procedures
- Knowledge of HSE regulations, quality standards, and construction best practices
